About Mr. Capretto |
I have lived in the Pittsburgh area all my life, though I love a good road trip - I have driven to Denver 4 times. I am happily engaged and will be married in 2011. As a native Pittsburgher, I am an avid sports fan. The Penguins are by far my favorite team; the numbers 87 and 71 have an unusually high prevalence in my example problems.
As a teacher I believe that high expectation and a demanding curriculum are essential for students to reach their greatest potential. When faced with challenges students put forth their best work. One of the biggest lessons my students have to learn is perseverance. It is ok to struggle, it is not ok to give up.
